Is Church Safe?

Church shopping. Now, church surfing. In a radically individualistic culture that has taken church for granted, it seems we’ve lost the real meaning and purpose of church. Add to that, the countless “versions” of church out there…what’s the church really about? In this message, we’ll rediscover what Jesus had in mind when he established this thing we call church.

This talk unpacks why we are called Lifegate (a name we were given 8 years ago) and what a “Lifegate Church” is: a people and place where the presence of God is experienced and where we respond to the promptings of God’s Spirit.

In a world that is growing evermore divisive, we find ourselves having to make some difficult decisions. These life-changing shifts in our day-to-day lives may lead some to think, is church worth it? This message will answer this question and explain the value of committing to pursue Jesus with others in community.
