Free From Fear
Second only to “I Love You” as the most central message God wants to speak to us through His Word and into our daily lives would be, “Don’t be afraid.” Of course, there is the healthy fear of things that could immediately hurt us as well as the fear of the Lord, which is to have reverent awe of who He is. This talk is not about those kinds of fears. There is another fear that stalks many, threatening to become the focus of their entire life, whispering threateningly all the things that might, could even should go wrong and hurt us and those we love. Is there any answer to that kind of endless fear? Any hope? In this talk this fear and its source will be uncovered and the steps to a life of freedom from all fear.

We all experience anxiety from time to time but many in our world battle chronic or crippling anxiety over a variety of things. Is there hope for freedom and peace beyond the often helpful medications prescribed? God is aware of our anxious thoughts and He cares. He also provides a clear path to freedom from unhealthy anxiety which we’ve entitled: Our Answer to Anxiety.
Most of us would say that we are rarely jealous. On the contrary God so identifies with being jealous that He calls Jealous one of His names. Is there a right way to be jealous? We live in a world where being jealous or angry are always wrong, but if these are attributes God ascribes to Himself maybe we should reconsider. Being Jealous may just set you free to love well.
