A Church at the Table

When we think of Jesus’ big moments, we often think of the cross, the empty tomb or maybe teaching and feeding massive crowds. And yet, some of Jesus’ most significant ministry moments were in the very ordinary setting of a table and a meal with friends.

We desperately want community, but we instinctively resist the time, vulnerability, and inconvenience required to create it. Jesus invites us to the table to transform us into people who look more like Him.

As a church we believe life groups are the best way forward for our soul’s formation as we follow Jesus for the benefit of others. This message helps us understand the why behind why we believe this is true.

Following Jesus does not guarantee calm circumstances. Sometimes obedience leads directly into a storm—but Jesus meets us there.
